I don't believe so, that stator/flywheel assembly is for the 12V horizontal pitbike engines.

Thanks been trying to find a replacement for my stator but I guess IMA have to look thru you tube and try and restore it myself. My points are all corroded so are my coils and one of the magnets on the magneto is broken off.

Well, if it's any consolation, the '77-'79 XL75 and the '80-'82 XL80 all used the same stator, if you plan to browse through eBay.
