I was just wondering if I put another engine in my ST will I be able to wire the tach to still work off the new engine?

does the ST tach run off the 12 volt and a sensor on the coil lead? or is it run off the cam. ifs its a electrical tach it will be no problem to move it from one bike to the other. If its a cam driven tach then you will have to see if the head will support the same setup on the new motor.
