Just got this bike and have only rode it for 10 minutes. It starts just fine and idles for about a minute then it idles up way high i would guess around 2000-3000 rpm. I didn't think much of it so I rode out of the drive way and got on it a little bit a few minutes later I look down and notice the exhaust where is bolts up to the exhaust port is cherry red. I shut it off immediatly. I believe it is obvioulsy lean, but what do I check on the carb? Also is the 19mm big enough for it anyway? Any and all help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tyler

Check the intake gaskets at the head and the carb.......it has an air leak thats why it is reving up and running lean. make sure all bolts are tight.

get some wd40 and spray it around the gaskets.....if it revs up then that gasket is bad or leaking. It maybe torn creased boken or the intake bolts may just be loose.

replace as needed.
