Very nice parts, I especially like the flush mounted fuel fills on those tanks. One question...Why does all the Ti stuff have the rainbow colors ? (dont like it) Are they flaming the stuff to make it look like that intentionally ?

It's intentional. When you purchase their exhausts, you have the option of getting them either "Burned" or raw. They actually charge more to have them burned.

I prefer the burned, while others prefer the raw.

I do not even want to know how much that exhaust costs....

It was a one-off custom. It's not a part they will duplicate and sell. Most of W-K's parts you take your bike there, tell them what you want, and they make it for you from scratch.

Now while they do have catalog parts (Kickstand legs in TI are bloody expensive), most is one-off.

That exhaust looks like a lazer for a newer R6. I was going to get there Ti kick stand but i wont be running a kick stand...... After looking at it im not crazy about it anyways.

Im going to try to run this T stand form them. Just waiting on word back to make sure it will fit my foot peg.

Just be aware the Hotlap tanks are steel and Chinese Made. My guess is you are paying for the gas cap and design and not for a quality tank.

They also make a Gorilla tank that takes an NSR50 Fuel cap. See attached.

Or, if you have an existing tank and want to run an NSR50 fuel cap, you can purchase the weld-in adapter to mount on your monkey tank. The adapter is north of $130 and the attached gorilla tank is the same price as the monkey tanks that come with the cap.

The burned look is why you get ti parts. Its nothing special though, just what happens when you weld ti. You can also do it to machined parts if you lessen the amount of coolant and let the part get hot. One draw back to machining like that is the part can get to hot and expand, then when it cools its smaller than what finished dimension should be. Some steels will rainbow like that when welding too.
