I would stay away from those knock offs. I dont see how you could re-use that engine in a stock or aftermarket frame.
That thing looks like the pw80 I had 7 years ago.
id only get it for the forks
If you actually look at it before you bash it, i'm pretty sure it uses a lifan 100cc motor. The frame and plastics are definately PW80, but the forks, swingarm, and possibly shock could be used in a conversion. I just put a PW 80 swingarm on my XR tonight to prove all you guys wrong going "it won't work" as you read this. So if you actually wanted to swap it over, you would need a set of XR wheels, a gas tank, plastics and seat, and frame. The way i see it is that its basically a ttr-90 for $625 delivered with a 90 day warranty. Or you could just leave it the way it is since you are too tall for a 50 anyways Nate. Plus it goes 45 mph stock...wow
pics of your bike with pw swingarm?
lets see the pics, ive got a pw80 i can tear apart for forks/swingarm
I just got new bushings for the PW swingarm. It isn't a direct bolt up like an XR swingarm would be. The mounts on the PW swingarm where the bushings go are too close together to mount right up to the XR frame...but not by much. By shaving a little over an eighth of an inch off each inner side of the PW swingarm, it will slide on like the XR swingarm. After that, you need to find a shock that makes the project worth doing. I wouldn't take the time to write all of this out if I didn't really put one on my bike. As for pictures, they are kind of pointless until i get a new shock. It just looks like the stock swingarm, but longer.
post pics anyway.. otherwise i call BS on you 8)

you really didnt write a lot, so i dont know why you mentioned "I wouldn't take the time to write all of this out if I didn't really put one on my bike."
Think what you want RM, i'll post a pic when its all done. As of right now its off and in pieces again.

bill - why'd you edit your first post? it said you would post pics before

You just want to believe that I am making this all up for your entertainment don't you? Ask Vince if it will work or not. He is the one that told me that it would work. And if you pull your head out of your a$$ for one minute you could see the message i posted about a shock and what he recommends. I have a feeling you are just going to skim through this and then say that i'm full of BS just so that you think you are cooler than me.
pics

dude post the pics soon, cause my friends got a pw80 that runs like shit, its like 10 years old, and if i could take the swingarm hed let me, we actually put pegs on the back for sh*ts and giggles, but hed let me have the swingarm and the forks, but i dont know if the forks would work
G
That bike looks like one of the bikes Checker Auto sells for $499 here in AZ. Doesn't look like you're getting it cheap if thats the case.
