two bros and maybe chp sell a shorter throw shaft (you move your foot less to shift).

i've bought a few but can't remember the price , chp would be cheaper .

maybe trail bikes sells them also.
whats better the short shift haft or the short shift drum from kitaco
well the drum wud give u a 4th gear but u have to split the cases!! the shift shaft u can just remove your clutch and slide it in!
I don't think you can use them together? I might be wrong.

I know someone on here well know more about it because they tried it.
I don't have a manual clutch though.

yup thats it but i think the two bros one you can run with an auto clutch
I just checked their web site and couldn't find anything.?
Like I said, I DON'T HAVE A MANUAL CLUTCH. The stock unit looks like cheap cast pot metal, would definately like something stronger.

The stock shift shaft is just about the same price as the CHP Quickshift. I know it says it's only for a manual clutch, but I know someone who ran it on an auto clutch and it worked fine. I'm sure it's got something to do with the the throw affecting the clutch engagement/disengagement.

i know people who had auto clutches and ran the two bros one , all should be the same thing .

call someone and ask .

call DON @ PAX racing for help he is one of the best motor builders on here.
do ya have an email or phone number for him?
There not to hard.. just pop off the clutch cover, basket and your primary gear or stock centrifugal set up and make sure you remove your shifter.. and it should slide right out!

You got a funky one. I've never had an issue with the OEM shift shaft or shift mechanism and the riders I've built them for where pretty hard on their stuff.
