If you still have one of those unreliable 107 motors, you might as well get a new one cause those things were junk. Even the frames were horrible. I had one and the clutch fried in 3 months, had a bent frame too...

Well IDK about the frames but I have a SDG 107 that I upgraded and it has been pretty durable...the only thing I do not like is the gear spacing...other than that it scoots ok.....Dan Crower cam, AHP piston, IRK, BBR pipe, Real Mikuni, SDG kick start/case/shift star upgrade

I have a sdg 107 that is completely stock exept an irk. it has about 80 hours of run time and still runs good. but it only makes power in the upper rpm range. some of my buddies did not like it some did

Apart from all the port work etc on my SDG, I advanced the DRATV cam 12 degrees and it makes great midrange and upper power now. Junk? If you look after the kickstarter and don't get in a rush to get it going again after you get tossed off it will last fine. Have maybe 50 hours of hard riding on mine without a problem.

I bought a 125cc piranha motor after my SDG fried and it no doubt was more reliable and more powerful than the SDG107. I have bbr Exhaust, uni filter, 14 tooth in the front and 37 in the back. It just flys.
