It's no stupid question, I need to know it too because it looks like I also have to buy a new chain

Heres another question.Has anyone found a socket that actually fits over the axle nut when the chain adjusters are on?



Just buy a Renthal R1 chain and cut it to length.

No matter what..you need a new chain with a extended swinger. The amount of links you would need would depend on gearing(size of rear sprocket) so just get a 120 linker and cut to size.

Go to Sears and buy a thin wall socket.
