Is it common for Sano pipes to hit the plastics? Its hitting the white number plate on my 2004 CRF50. For spending that much cash on an exhaust you would think the fitment would be excellent.

wheres it hitting? are you missing the rubber on the inside of the plastic that keeps the pipe away?

Do the CRF50's have that bumper.

yes they do. and its attached to the plastics, not the pipe. your plastics shouldnt be touching.

if not then get one...that would help...but i don't even have mine on my aftermarket plastic...but its an xr

The bumper is actually on the side of the pipe just behind the side number plate. The pipe had good clearance on the side, it was touching on the top. I loosened the 12mm bolt by the silencer and adjusted the silencer down as much as it would go. Its not hitting anymore, but its damn close. We'll see how it goes, like it is now. With the silencers being anodized black now, I would hate for the white plastic to melt on it.

what i did was i took a blow dryer and got them hot and bent them back and held them there for a minute and they never hit my pipe again hope this helps
