Hey friends working on a 2005 crf50f with the 88 kit. Can I remove the two motor studs closest to the cam chain with out removing the head and jug? I am replacing them due to stripped threads at top of valve cover. I know that at the base of the stud it’s flanged and will that fit thru the jug/head support dowels.

No, both studs have an 8x12 centering dowel that seat on the stud flange, the dowels will not pass through the cylinder or head. You have to remove them to remove the engine studs.
