I have an X4R and need to registar it so i can ride at state parks... the DMV says i need a certificate of orgin/title.... This did not come with the bike. I ordered the bike online from XT power sports...is this normal or am i missing something???

in ca we cant sale a new bike with out a certificate of orgin/title it the law.

The bike was purchased Online and the retailer was located in florida

Any bike should come with a CO/MSO. I can't imagine that pitster would be different.

I told the DMV that I had a custom, ground up built bike and they said to bring it in for a sign off/inspection and they will issue me a title.

pitster sends your MSO to whom you bought the bike from and then in turn the dealer is suppose to forward the MSO to you so that you can register the bike or show proof of ownership.

+1, contact your dealer for your paperwork, dealers get it sent out the day the bikes are sent.

same thing happened with my Xtreme

i talked to the dealership i got it from her IN california.

they called Xtreme and it was mailed right to my doorstep
