i was thinking of getting one too. it is also known as HRC head. anyone know anything about performance?

I heard the head is a deifenate improvement from stock, but its not nearly as fast as a super head, ultra, x, etc.
I run the trail bikes 88cc Big Bore Kit on my CT70 and a Kitaco Utrahead on my other bike.
They both run vitually the same speed. The TB 88cc Kit with the Race Head is a great value and hasn't let me down yet.
I won't waste my money on Kitaco again that's for sure.

whats the advantages of that head over a stock head with a port and polish ?
this head has bigger valves than stock and nice ports,but not too big that the intake charge loses velocity(ie bogs) like some of the big port heads do down low. most off road bikes need bottom to mid power to blast out of turns unless your a pro and can keep it on the pipe? hope this helps your decission? I've ran that head it is a Chinese copy of a XR70 head but the casting is not as clean .
It is like a XR50 head with slightly larger valves . I have about a hundred of these heads in stock but I'am sending them back because I get a better head for same price or I might just blow them out for cheap but I do not recomend them I beleive for the same price there are better heads availible . I would try Classic Honda's HRC head first

i have the trailbikes' 88cc kit with race head and it rocks! i smoke all my buddies that have tak and kitaco kits with ported and xr70 heads...i'm not the fastest rider, but my bike kicks ass. The hondatrailbikes.com kit is fast, affordable, and the service is great...just my personal experience...

First of, you have not run my head as I know who I’ve sold them too as I’ve only listed them for a few weeks and I did not sell one to you.
Secondly, it funny you recommend Classic’s HRC head as I know their supplier of these heads very well. If Lyle will tell you who it is, you can call them and easily verify this as we’ve been friends for years. I get my heads from the manufacturer who supplies them, and who in turn, supplies Classic Honda. It’s the EXACT same head and by the way, it does not come from China.
Now maybe you got a bad deal on some crap heads from China, but before you lump mine in with them, you ought to check the facts.

It is equal to the HRC head if you are familiar with that. I have not run any of the heads you mention so I cant honestly give you a comparison. The valves are 19/23mm and porting is perfectly matched for running a 20mm carb. I dont make any claims on it being able to "spank" this or that, but bottom line its a lot of fun and no doubt much better than just running a straight 88cc bore kit. Best of all, its affordable for the average person. Also, the customers who have purchased them so far have all been very pleased and once again, its only the other vendors who have something negative to say. I'm sure as I sell more of them, people will see for themselves the quality of these heads.

So far all I have done was talk to Mike (TB) through emails, and he seems to be a great person willing to go the extra mile for his customers. All of my emails have been answered within a day of sending them. Thanks again Mike.

Sorry Mike just going by what I've seen . I looked at the picture and that head looks identical to the ones I got but yours defintly has better casting from what I see. The ones I got just never ran right and the cam was a piece of crap.
