Does anybody have the SX 170cc big bore kit installed on their bike? How does the bike run? Where are the parts manufactured? China? Taiwan? Indonesia?

I ordered the big bore kit from SX on ebay. I got the one that uses the stock head. I'm just curious what to expect.

Sorry, I just noticed your question.

It's $150 +$74 shipping from Indonesia. On their website it's $150 + 74 shipping. With shipping, I think I paid $240ish on ebay.

The parts appear to be well made and of high quality. I haven't installed it yet tho.

I have had it in my daughters bike for a couple years now, no complaints whatsoever.

Did it add much power or increase the power band of the bike? I have a 09 140L for my wife and it seems like the bike revs out/runs out of steam pretty fast.

Your best option if you can find any of these kits is to just go with a BBR 170 kit with included camshaft since they're readily available, and is made in the USA which means much faster shipping time.

The 186 stroker is amazing @10 main 40 pilot needle on third position if you get that kit.
