Hey guys I have posted some pics up previously in some other threads, I finally got most of my stuff that I ordered so the project is coming along nicely now, here are some that I took last night, All I need to get is a tube so I can get the wheels on. And then the fun starts with all the electrical stuff.

Does anybody have any tips on how to wire a CDI and a new coil into the old wiring harness, I got them with the engine are are a little stumped on where to start with them.

Also with the fast 50 clamp my headlight bucket now no longer fits, so I thinking about getting rid of the spedo and fiberglassing a old one that I have once I have cut out the spedo and key spot.

very clean. I like it!

I could be crazy but I think you'll need a new wiring harness

That mingunz pipe is so basic looking. I still can't believe it sells for $225+. That's the only thing I would change on the bike.

I had a similar problem.

Z88R suggested to me a long time ago to use a NEWER crf wiring harness from Honda.

Was only $40 I think. Maybe someone on PM has one.

It has the coil wire connectors, the CDI connectors and kill switch connectors complete.

The orange really stands out with all that black. Nice !! Any wheel to cyl head interference when you compress the forks ?

Get a plastic front fender as it looks like you'll be trimming it up so it doesn't hit the engine.

Nice looking project.

yea i kind of know, but what way is right??? I have been told to tape where I was going to cut the use a saw, do you have any tips or tricks to get a nice cut
Use electrical tape to outline your cut. It's flexible and you can curve it to a nice shape. A carpenters coping saw works great on plastic. Thin blade that you can easily cut shapes with and they're cheap to buy. A little sanding and you'll have a professional job.

Its been awhile since I have posted any pics, its still slowly coming along, here is what it looks like now. Got the springs powdered coated red and milled down the engine so I would not have to cut the front mudguard. Should be completed soon.
