Do I have to drain the oil before switching out the cam covers? I noticed a little bit of oil leaking once loosened up the bottom bolts and tightend them back down. Im assuming you're gonna have some come out reguardless but want to know if the i should drain it. Doesn't seem like that makes sense in my head, but then again, im not the brightest when it comes to this shit...thanks homies!!!

You'll be fine. Like you said a little will come out. If you're concerned, lean it on its right side for a little while beforehand

The oil you see dripping out is what got caught on the lips of the covers themselves. all your oil will drain back down into the crank case so everything will be ok.
