porting info
hey i have an 03 xr wit 75 big bore 20 mm carb, ultima jr pipe, bbr rev box...and i was considering having a guy i know bench flow port it, and clean up the ports a little, plus having him shave the bottom of the head down for more compression..all for$150...what do u guys think of that???

yeah definetly get it all cept the shaving, itll have enough compresion as is and you could end up with clearance problems.
i angle milled mine .015 no prob
why would you angle mill it it would fuck up all the head geometry very bad do not do that

what happens to your cam timing after you mill your head, wouldnt it cause your cam timing to be retarded because of the slack in the chain?

Why would you mill it for .015???? you can drop your gasket thickness to acomplish that....Once you mill your done, no turning back....
