anyone seen any pictures of a ported stock head?

i need something to look at before i pull it all apart.

any comments or suggestions would help out, so throw in your .02$

dont make it to big!!!! and dont polish it, it needs to be a rough. wut big bore and wut carb u runnin? if a 88 s stage or sumthing like it then make the intake about 19-20mm and same for exhast, and match the intake to that. also, when u do it, make the port as strait of a shot as possible, so shave the one side of it but not the outside its like a turn on the track, if u could cut the track ona 90 degree turn where would u go? inside of the tire, banner, etc. to make it striat, same with ur ports. make it strait, make it big but not to big, and dont poilish it.

YA WHAT SANOBRADY SAID

BUT ONLY POLISH THE EXHAUST AND DO THE INTAKE THE SAME AS WHAT SIZE CARB YOUR RUNING

(18MM CARB = 18MM PORT )

(20MM CARB = 20MM PORT )

EXHAUST PORT TRY TO GET IT THE SAME SIZE AS THE INSIDE OF YOUR HEAD PIPE AND YOU SHOULD BE GOOD

yup, and if the connection of the header to ur head is diff (headers to small) u can shave it down a bit to make it flow a bit smoother rather than hitting the striat up edge of the header
