are you polishing the outside ? or are you talking about cleaning up the ports after doing a porting job ?.

start with a demil tool first if your porting / polishing .

What Demon said. Start with a dremil tool and work slow and consistant. When you think it looks good stop. Don't try to make it better.

i did the head on my stocker. looked sweet for a while, but quickly goes back to dull finish.

If you mean the outside, start wet sanding it with like a 400 grit sand paper and work your way down to like 2000 grit. Then hit it with some aluminum polish on a rag and it will look like chrome. You will have to keep touching it up. I did one and will never do it again. To get all the fins polished took forever, and my hands were all cut up and sore when I was done.



If you mean polishing the ports, don't do it. You can port it, and clean it up, but don't polish the ports.

find you a good girl friend to do that for you.
