2014 State Pro Champion & Holeshot King - #95 Bubba Harris (Topeka, KS) see's his fully sponsored Pit Bike Junkie Piranha P190RME-4V "Works" bike for the first time at the opening round of the ShoMe State Pit Bike Series...Bubba goes 1/1 for the overall WIN in the Pro Class...

The bike was prepped by Pit Bike Junkie founder "Fantasy" Jim...So what was Bubba's reaction to his 1st test ride?...."AWESOME!"...When F.J. asked what had to be changed, adjusted or modified...The answer was "NOTHING".
Bike performed flawlessly with only a chain adjustment...Not one tweak to the suspension, lever positions, brake pedal, handlebars, etc...GO BUBBA!!

Big Piney MX Park...Mike & Grant Kindred's new facility is a little piece of paradise on 500 ft. of frontage on the amazing Big Piney River (known for excellent floating, fishing & river views of granite bluffs, massive oaks & rope swings). When you make the brief decent down the gravel road to enter the gates, the park opens up to a grass & sand pit area that could hold 100 vehicles, continue to the right and you will hit the beach on the river or head left pass the pit area and you will see a gorgeous man-made 9 acre lake with an island (dead center)...WOW!...On this far side of the property there is room for another 50 vehicles (or campers). These features alone make this facility a diamond in the rough as the Kindreds have only recently purchased the property and continue to improve it...But Mike & Grant didn't stop there...They brought in famed MX track builder Chris Frye to construct a purpose built pit bike track using all natural terrain that slithers through the river bottom like a wild snake. Some great elevation changes, sweepers, hairpin turns (with high berms) and a couple of butt-puckering straights to tap out 4th gear. Chris also acts as Race Director at these special events with his personal "NO Cry-Babies Allowed" style. Nobody can prep a track better than Chris Frye as I have witnessed his expertise numerous times in the worst conditions. At this debut event the rain absolutely pounded the track on Sat. nite but the track was race ready when the 1st gate dropped. During intermission there was another downpour but once again Chris re-prepped the track (in about an hour) and the 2nd moto was completed with some intense bar banging & mud slinging. This debut event was a HUGE SUCCESS...but I have just one (or a few suggestions)...Name that island FANTASY ISLAND, install a white sand beach staffed with buxom island beauties serving me frozen Margaritas while Jimmie Buffet sings "It's 5 o'clock somewhere"...OH CRAP...I dozed off for a minute...Mike, Grant, Chris and our 2 Series Directors Steve Siu & Steve Bales...THANK YOU!...Can't wait to go back...Now all Team Riders... help me find that lost shaker of salt?

So Pit Bike racing is all about the FUN...Right?...Well here's how we do it in the Show-Me State...Practice till 2pm on Saturday...then a 2 hour float down the Big Piney with kayaks, tubes, etc...COLD beer & rope swings!...Later that night we over-ran the LaFamilia Mexican restaurant in town for some great food, bench racing & FROZEN Margarita's...Then we hit the hotel pool & hot-tub that night to get ready for a day of squirtin dirt & bangin bars.

No CRY-BABIES ALLOWED...Just come have some FUN!! and RUN WHAT U BRUNG!!

All this for $10 gate fee each day (float trip was FREE!!)...Race fee is $35
