Hi guys, old guy having a flash back from the good old days and reliving the youth.

So far 2 bikes, 1979 Yamaha MX100, bought as a complete basket case, semi restore but still working on it.

2nd bike is a 1977 Z50. Just bought it on, 1/24/09 and havent had the chance to do anything to it yet but hoping to start soon as the weather gives me a break.

Couple pics of my bikes.

Thanks for the welcome, just picked that up from a 16 yr old kid (seriously) lol. hoping this weather breaks and i can get into the garage and start working on it.
Welcome to the site. You'll find plenty of good and bad info on here, you just have to figure out how to weed through all the BS.

My friend had one of those MX 100's when I was a kid( 36 now). I had the first year YZ 80 with the infamous "Mono Shock". Your right those were the days.
Yea. no not unless hes got mad cash hahhhhhhh.

But seriously. Well at least at 16 if you had all of those bikes, you must of been a pretty happy camper.
Oh yes, i remebmer that yz80, crazy fast bike for the day.

Whats funny is i was 16 when i had my yz250 and rode the nuts off that bike and had a great time. few years ago i wanted another one so i bought one from a guy that had professionally all rebuilt. I tooled around the field across the street from me a couple times, then took it out for some serious riding. Holy crap about killed myself, brought it home, set it in the shed for about a year then sold it lol. There does come a time when you are just to old to ride things that fast..

Heres a pic of that monster.

Thanks for the welcome, I still love to ride but no racing for me anymore.

Had my first back surgery when i was 30, in therapy now to prolong the shoulder surgery and about a year past due for the 2nd back surgery lol.

I have a coupe quads as now also, 2001 yamaha blaster and the kids have a 2003 suzuki 250 ozark. This spring the blaster is going up forsale so i can get a SLOWER quad lol. Love the bike but after a days riding i cant walk for a couple days, so its time to go..

Guess i should have been more careful when i was a kid lol..
