The bike is now running and almost done. A few things I didn't know to begin with.

Follow Brian's instructions and the only mods you need to do are removed of a couple little brackets around the motor.

The XR stock throttle and clutch cables work great. Don't use the NSR stuff just carry the XR stuff over. All good.

I was lucky and able to find a pipe that had already been used on a NSR XR conversion. So the fit was already done. I just had to hose clamp and safety wire some stuff.

Make ke sure to heat wrap all of the exhaust. If possible the can too. The heat is going to melt the underside of the NSR bodywork. Or on the can put a heat shield on the underside of the NSR tail. I had to bend the center crossbrace of the subframe to ensure the can didn't hit the tire when the read was loaded up.

The XR kickstart won't clear the footage and brake. Need to find another with a shorter arm. Or one that the arm kicks out wider.

All told old this was a super easy conversion.

Good points! As a race bike, I just bump start all my bikes. You'll be surprised how easy it bump starts! Plus, you can now ditch the kick starter shaft and save some weight! Just need a plug for the cover!
For the exhaust, I just wrap my header. The seat is a little warmer, but not that bad or noticeable.

Bike sounds good! Have fun with it

I used to have a few different ysr50's back in the day. Bought new one for me one for girlfreind..They were cool but nsf100 looks pretty wicked..I wouldnt mind getting some type of street basher again, but I dont think these are street leagal..I don't know anything about them but saw a add for a brand new one awhile back still in crate its a 2006.. So I watched some races on them on youtube they look like they can scoot pretty good..Heres the listing for anybody that might be interested in the bike...Is this a high price for the NSF100? I think I paid like 1,300 a piece for my new ysr50's..And would something like a daytona 190 fit in the NSF100 frame? Just courious..If i had money to throw around I'd love to get one...I've never really seen to much of them...

Thanks man. It's been great.

I ran into some teething issues. The exhaust is rubbing the tire. So need to raise it 1.5 inches above the subframe height. And the stock throttle throw is way too long. Need a quick turn as the XR throw requires a serious twist.
