Got my hands on a wiring diagram (in japanese), a wiring harness (from ebay said it was from an NSR50 - not certain), and a left hand control. Question I have (boeing787??) is . . . what happens with the NSR50R left hand kill switch? Doesn't look like the NSR50(JDM) has that built in the left control. Does the key just kill it? Anyone have the part# for the CORRECT harness? The page I have with the wiring diagram on it references 0030Z-GT4-7100. Can't find any reference to that number. I think the harness I picked up says "T4-9700" (first part of the label is missing). Does that mean anything to anyone? CDI looks to be COMPLETELY different from the NSR50R!! Ignition switch and key (that I got on ebay go to some NSR) don't fit either. wtf!! Doing the change over (from NSR50(US) to NSR50(JDM) is NOT easy!!!

My two converted bikes shut off with a key. I don't know if you have the JDM parts book. But, it looks like you need harness 32100-GT4-970.

Are you using the JDM CDI or the US CDI?? I think I can make things work with the US CDI. I'll be sending you a private message shortly, LOTS of questions!!

Hey, Brad. I fell off the site, for awhile. With, selling a house, and getting a kid off to college. How's the NSR? Did you get the Rothman fairings?

Ok . . . cats out of the bag. Your introduction to Buyee was bad, bad, BAD!! I've been like a MADMAN!!! I've probably just about bought EVERY NSR50 part ever made (twice)! It's been a blast. I think I sent you a pm. Let me know if you don't have it. If you'd post up your email I'll reach out directly. I still have a bunch of questions. Basically . . ., I have my NSR street legal at this point (lights, ignition, etc.). Just have to clean up work through some of the details. Reading a JAPANESE NSR50 wiring diagram (not even sure what year) has been a pretty good challenge (to say the least). More later. Kinda anticipating doing a complete tear down and rebuild over the winter. To my surprise the NSR *IS* a lot of fun (I was a skeptic) to ride! NOTHING like a 2 stroke!

Boeing-- By looking at your collection, it's easy to see that you have a problem.... Are there any support groups for men with your type of sickness in your area of Chicago? Hahahahaha! I think we all have it! If you see my NSF build-- then you'll know I should be leading the support group! If anybody knew what projects I have dancing in my head-- they'd come and take me off somewhere!!

If I were going to do a street legal NSR50-- I'd look for the OEM parts on Ebay Japan, and see if they'd ship here? --L*64
