Hello, I have posted this question on a couple different forums but no one will answer. I have a 1974 XR75 that I just bought in 5 boxes. It is missing parts and thankfully for ebay I am finding the parts to put it back together. I found a set of brake panel hubs from a 1977. They look good and the price is right. After some research it looks like there is a change between 1976 and 1977. I read some where that they might have a heavier spring, but that would not effect the fit. So my question is...will 1977 Brake Hubs fit my 1974 front and rear wheels? This is not a high end restoration, just a nice rider. Thanks

They seam to fit the rear ok but the front has a brass bushing that hits the bearing and will need to be shaved down about a 1/8 inch. Other than that they look like they will work. Thanks for all your help.
