New project: CT70K0 fork legs

I've been working on making some custom K0 fork legs. They'll look just like originals but will be made out of polished stainless steel. I got the forming tool done today for making the lower part. Here is a pic of one I did with a scrap piece of pipe that is the wrong size, you get the idea though.

As far as disc brake mounts, I'm sure it can be done but there is a lot more to it than just the mounts for the caliper as I'm sure you know. It's also kind of an oxymoron to upgrade to disc brakes and keep the stock K0 front suspension. It'd have a bling effect but seems somewhat pointless otherwise.
The K0 front suspension is supposed to be pretty good when it's worked over, I thought?

Why is that? You don't think the disc will stop better than a drum? He's going to be using KO forks regardless so why not have better brakes?
I suppose you can make a disc setup, but I'm probably not going to because in order to make the fork legs with mounts I'd have to design the whole disc brake front end assembly for it to work with.

Apparently my car parts website is "spam" even though there isn't a single motorcycle part whatsoever on the site. I still don't quite understand that, but I'm done with it. Basically we have a machine shop in the basement here and make reproduction AMC and Rambler car parts.
