Hey guys,

The other forum was kinda long maybe Nick can put a LOCK on the other

one and we can continue on this one? National Pitbike Racers Association.

The N.P.R.A. sound ok?



Here are some givens that maybe we can agree on Allowenses in all the

classes: bike had to start out as a fiddie, 10 Inch wheels, bar kits, pipes,

Rev box, air cleaner. ( stock mod suspension= HD springs front

and rear shock ok). these are called the GIVENS.



Classes:



STOCK- 0 to 49cc stock head, The givens, auto tranny.



STOCK/MOD- 0 to 75cc stock head, big carb, the givens, aftermarket

suspension ok, aftermarket frame. auto tranny.



MODIFIED- 0 to 88cc modified head, Big carb, aftermarket suspension

the givens. aftermarket frame. Mod tranny Auto/Manual.



SUPERCLASS- 0 to 95cc super head, the givens, aftermarket frame

aftermarket suspension, Mod tranny Auto/Manual.



PRO CLASS- 0 to 124cc 12 inch front wheel ok, the givens. money class.

Mod tranny Auto/Manual.



DRZ/KLX 110 CLASS STOCK- the givens



DRZ/KLX 110 CLASS MODIFIED- 110 to 150cc,



OPEN WHEEL CLASS- 0 to 150cc combined class DRZ/KLX-FIDDIE CLASS,





RULES: GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, No cheating, No fighting, No foul

language,



A) Three riders plus make a class

B) AMA point system applys

C) top 10 riders in each class at seasons end allowed to run 1-10

following season.

D) Membership numbers start : 00011 plus Letter of last name

following Issued number Example: 125s s for last name smith.

E) Trophy award placing up to track owners.

F) Kids age classes up to 12 NOV, AM, EX. Up to track as to how

many 1st, 2nd, place move up points to proceed to next level

of proficantcy.

G) 13 and over race in above classes STOCK,MOD,SUPER..ECT.

H) the HONOR SYSTEM no cheating, caught cheating and up to

track to issue dissaplanary actions. suspension or dismissal.

I) PROFESSIONAL once you race pro that is your class or open

class only. to race non pro-class 1 year absence from racing.





Well let everybody know what they think. you will fit into one of these

classes the rules are just a basic format. the membership should be started by someone that has experiance with this contacts....Ect. as long

as I can be N.P.R.A.#000038m is all good!!!!

Kevi that is right on . if everybody agrees lets set up a site .



I talked to a couple of people and they can help with it .



I remember Nick saying he would set it up on this site but he would not run it



PS. who should the president be ? non industry or industry ?

Hey guys, what about east/west coast or even splitting it into "districts"??

That might be a little more involved as there would have to be the appropriate people put into place to run things. That way we could take a group of tracks in a given area to run points events and possibly in the future have it so the top 3-5 riders from each district can attend a "National" event.

As far as classes Kevin is pretty close, but I think that the mod. should be up to 88cc/ stock head with a super-mod for super-head bikes with an open for the 95's etc... but being that it isn't as big out here, maybe combine or eliminate some classes. For example, let the XR70s X107's, etc...run the open class.

Also, I think we should keep the age classes like maybe 13-18 and 18+



Who will run this is the toughest question..I think that there should be "unbiased" individuals in higher office with guys like myself onboard only as sponsors and rider support, that way it avoids any confusion as to how things are run as far as money, etc...

Hey Guys,

Every bike will fit into one of those classes, even xr 100 those are good basis for classes. If 3 or more guys show up with xtreme 107' then you

ether combine them or intergrate them into an appropriate class SIMPLE.



As for the Organization you need a board of directors:



President

Vice President

Secretary

Treasure



These people should be non-Industry related if it can be helped.



Now If it were going to be split into DISTRICTS or REGONIAL we will

need to get 2 people from each DIST.or REG. as a Competition Congress

these people can and should be in the Industry. Also we'll need 2 people

should be racers from each DIST. or REG. That will have Input on the

Race scene and N.P.R.A. Organization.





Once we are an established and reconized Organization, then we take our

RULES,CLASSES and BYLINES of the ORG. And then approach the local

Motorcycle or BMX track or MotorSport Organization. and Hopefully can be join or get Affiliated with them to allow us to race.

rules and regulations

I am going to throw my 2 cents in, Something that just came to mind, In Texas we have this car racing orginization called "The King of the Hill" (its a outlaw drag racing class) anyway the guy who registered the name of the orginazation made it a non-profit business. As time went on he was addvised to make it a corporation do to insurance concerns(injurys and sombody sueing, etc.) So now he is the majority stock holder and cleaning out all the funds in the bank which were to be used as payouts, t-shirts, advertising, etc. So everbody pulled out and now its defunct. Any thoughts before we start wasting alot of effort.( If I remember right there was some arguing not to long ago about business on one of thes forums, so I think there are some business majors out there)

Hey everyone,

Well when This topic begins to take shape and is a reality I think we should meet somewhere central to discuss this further some place warm!

to pick a Competition Congress and board. so spread the word in the

Industry and to reliable people who can donate their ideas and time.

The people who are voted or appointed to office should have some kind of Race knowledge or background bicycle or motorcycle would help?

keep this in mind when you say make me the PREZ..............



also People in the Industry should have plenty of good solid Ideas

So I know there is plenty of people on this site with connections to all the

major players in the fiddie world to get them involved. Hey it can only

benifit them in the long run. and make the dealers and distributors stronger............So get the WORD out this is no DRILL lets make this

Happen for real.

Also, Im not being "biast" because I live in So Cal by any means, I just think it would be logical to have the president be in So. Cal where most of the industry is, and where most of the population, and races are.



just kinda makes sense to me.

we need a race to start off this NBA or WNBA or w/e the hell its called, lol.



BIG RACE AT ELSINORE. FIRST EVER 50 WNBA, lol, NATIONAL. TONS OF PRIZES, TROPHIES, advertise it for like 3 months. get tons of sponsors, tons of vendors, rebuild the track, refresh the dirt, etc. everything. I call BIG, STEEP, POINTY jumps.

damn, that was easy. Tell him Bryce Terzian demands he rebuilds the BMX Track up to MY expectations, due to my dad going there and helping him with the 50 track when they first opened. Your talking about Randy Heimer right?
