Well guys, I decided to finally start my build thread, I figured I had enough parts to get started. Im going with an Aluminum MotoVert frame because it has very similar geometry to the stock ATC70 frame, and it has the cradle frame and big bike style shock mount already setup. I'm using Marzocchi forks up front with custom Triples from think, I have a set of 4/110 8x6 rims on order with Holeshot tires. Also a set of aluminum extended rear hubs and a front brake hub that will allow me to run formula disc brakes up front. I am also building a custom swingarm with a twin row bearing carrier. Right now it is out of steel but eventually it will be aluminum. Probably run drum brakes for now until I figure out the best way to put disc on the back. Still looking for a good gas tank if anyone has one they would like to sell to help the cause. Im going with a black on black color scheme with red accents. Have a brand new set of fenders coming as well. Motor is a stock z50 right now but it will be getting an 88cc kit with race head and a manual billet clutch and lightened flywheel once I get the whole thing going. Going to use an Elka rear shock if I can find one. Would eventually like to make this out of a BBR superpro frame and real Marzocchi Shivers up front, but this is my first attempt so its basically just a trial run. I will be race cutting the rear fenders and keeping the kick start cause I think that pull starts suck. I will also be running a billet twist throttle. I think that covers everything, Let me know what you think. I love the input from some of the gurus around here. This is my first ever atc70 so I know literally nothing about them. I will be posting more pictures as time goes by so keep checking back.

Yours is looking pretty darn cool to me. Are you going to cut your rear fender narrow on the bottom and use the Takegawa SP kickstarter.

I agree, That fender looks good. The front lower part is cut narrow just behind the footpeg. About 1 1/2". From that point going up & back you can taper cut it out to about the stock width in about 10" up. Then the Takegawa kickstarter will clear the fender.
I've never seen that picture before looks great. Love the Turbo.

ok after putting this on the back shelf due to nursing school, I finally dug it out and got some stuff done on it. Here are a few pics of my swingarm for those that wanted
to see, Taking it up to the aluminum welding shop his week to have my subframe finished up. My only issue now is figuring out the chain slider.
