I give up for now. The cylinder head bolts were not very tight. I tightened them up. Put everything back together and started up bike. Won't idle, but it will rev up. Now it's tough to start. It did back fire a little bit a few times. Have no idea what i should do next

So RedRider77 how did you fix your similar engine problem? At this moment i'm thinking i need to cylinder apart and check warpage. Put new gaskets on try again. I'm also thinking of getting a better quality carb and jets from Tbolt. Order them in the morning.

How long does it usually take Tbolt to confirm they got your online order? I ordered carb this morning. I called them i miss typed my email address. Not sure who i talked to there but he was awesome. He sent me a email explaining how to figure out my bike running rich issue

So i got a new carb and jets from Tbolt. Put it on the bike. It is doing all kind of crazy stuff. At first it didnt want to idle but would rev up. Then i got it where it would idle, but if i barely twisted the throttle it would rev to the point i would push kill switch. If started it up again it would idle again, but if i mess with air/fuel screw it would rev almost to the point of hitting kill switch. If try to turn fuel screw down to reduce revving it dies. I double checked timing TDC timing chain thing. What the hell is going on with this bike?

Are you installing the throttle slide into the carb throat with the beveled edge of the slide to the back (airbox) end of the carb? Also, make sure the air screw is backed out 1.5 turns from seated, and the idle adjust screw is out quite a ways, until you can get it to stop revving up when you touch the throttle.

The carbs throttle slide is where it is suppose to be. If i have air/fuel screw out 1 1/2 turns it will idle pretty good. If i mess with idle screw the bike doesnt like and reacts drastically and dies or almost dies. If i barely twist throttle the bike revs way way up. If i let continue to run it will idle back down in about a minute. I ran a unlit propane tank all around the carb, the intake and cylinder gasket and could not get it to rev up. I sprayed gumout around both intake gasket and no change in rpm. When bike is at idle it sounds very good to me. What the heck is wrong

Check your throttle cable routing to make sure it isn't kinked somewhere and slow to return to normal. Also make sure the throttle cable end is fully seated in the carb cab, and not hanging up on the lip under the rubber cap boot.
