t needs some work, mostly in the form of some missing stock parts, but it fires up and runs. It's got a TB 88 kit and the stock 3 speed semi-auto. Odometer currently shows 3500 miles.

NEEDS: Turn signals (front and rear), tail light, tires that don't suck, probably a brake rebuild at least. That's just to make it streetable. I'm broke so the bling stuff will have to wait.

Also, my 5 year old is a cheeseball and wanted to be in the pictures, so naturally my 2 year old wanted in on the action too.. :laughing

The good news is the tank looks to be nice and bike looks complete.Tailite is easy to find;its same as honda vt750 shadow and 90s ct70 i understand.youll need tailite rubber gasket too. Most of your zb can be enhanced w some sanding and paint, pounding out small dents(exhaust guard)etc.Little money some sweat.
cool man. congrats!

now you have two unique minis in the garage right?

Yeah, the ZB and the Dax. Eventually the Dax is going to be sold to finance the ZB though.

GOOD DEAL.Is that a skyteam tank?

I think so, but I'm not 100% sure. Doesnt' bother me either way though.
Congrats on the ZB. Looks like a great father, son project.

Your tank could have a Monkey RT fuel cap if it has Honda keys to it. It really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Just work with what you have if it's not destroyed as the front end lighting parts are long gone other then the bucket. The sealed headlamp is one of the hardest parts to find if it burns out.
Congrats Mike. Wow, look at that tank!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did they charge to ship it?
Good score for $800. That is an ST tank they came with china chrome gas caps. Get Heidenau tires off motoshop Z. Invest in footpeg rubbers from Honda (cheap).

$1500. He bought it from the guy that got it off Ebay.
it has a few scuffs but i'd say thats 1 sweet ass ride.

btw it looks like other than the kids the garabge truck got in on the action too.:)
Got the plates today from DMV -- should hvae turn signals and better tires on it this weekend.

Just need to figure out a tail light.

Mikev... As BAJAZB stated.... Check part #4 on Ron Ayers link below. I have bought one and used one on one of my ZB's. They are identical and work perfect, Get the gasket & lense too.

Forgot.....The only thing you will have to do is change the end connectors to make the light off the Shadow work. They are different to the ZB harness connectors.
