GM has asked about holding a ride day/night on Feb 25. looking to see how much interest there is. It would be considered a regular ride and no one would be responsible for paying rent. you will have a one time $10 membership fee if you have never been and it would be $35 to ride. I have at least 8 guys planning on heading up now but that is not enough to cover cost. looking for at least 8 more. if you or someone you know would be interested in having a ride day please take two minutes and shoot GM an email or leave a comment on the facebook page.

If we can't get enough interest in this I may still rent the place out for that night but the price to ride may be more.

we rode there last Sat. it's the perfect size for pit bikes. we had two guys on XR100/CR85 small wheels and two on big wheels, one CRF150F and one on a TTR125 with YZ85 forks. we had a blast. please comment or contact GM if you want this to happen. thanks

Ahhh dammit, just heard from Wardy there was over 50 riders there lastnight. I pulled my bike out yesterday to look it over and noticed my custom intake spacer I made from oak had a nice crack in it. I spent the day looking for a piece of phenolic to fab another to no avail. I k ew this was gonna happen when I originally made it, but out of sight, out of mind, and I missed what sounds like an awesome event because of it.

Awe man this spacer is 1 3/4 inches long for my XR100 with Takegawa head in a CR chassis. It needs to be that long to get connection to the airboot. Yesterday I ordered a phenolic block from Grainger, but maybe the linseed oil is the secret. Hahaa

I'd like to think that it is more to deflect the heat coming off the top of the head. When it is in place, the spacer is offset to the right side of the engine, if you offset it to the left, it either pinches the float bowl drain hose or gets broken when you tighten the carb down in place by the float bowl nozzle itself.

you missed a great time. half the group were small wheel 110's and the other half were bigger bikes. if you didn't have someone to ride with you weren't trying very hard, group ranged from fast to slow and everyone I talked to had a great time. I think GM was impressed with the turnout. hopefully next year he has a few pitbike events.

Glad to hear it was good turnout. 5 hours is a little to long of a drive for me.
