Please contact Log Road Motocross for more info not mentioned here.

Race dates:

May 19

June 23

July 14

August 18

September 1

Money Moto - purse of $350.00 paying top 5.

Entry fee is $20.00 per class and you will have to pay a $10.00 gate fee.(I hate gate fees!).

I was at the track yesterday and got to talk to the "boss's".

There will be OPEN practice for 1 hour starting at 4:30 (just go out and ride,no waiting). Racing will start at 6:00.

The money moto will be 8 laps I think...I know for sure that it will be more then 5 laps.

Guessing from the mount of emails and questions asked at sign up yesterday, theres gonna big a large turn out for these money motos.

Here's the bad news, for those who dont like the idea of xr/crf 80's being in the class, you might not wanna come cuz the 80's will be allowed to run the money moto too but not the 100's. Im sorry about this but it's not my call so please dont shoot the messenger.

So other then the normal pit bike race's, the money moto only will consist of 50cc to 80cc 4 strokers. Any and all mods are ok for the money moto only.

Too add to that, the guys (mostly way older guys) that run the 80's are not as fast as most of you younger guys so to be honest, you got nothing to worry about unless you just plain slow, lol.

I've seen Tyson ride, he wont have a problem, neither will ibMike or shift22.

Now for the good news, the track WILL be redone. Im going down there May 5th and 6th for the whole weekend and a bunch of us are going to work on the pee wee track.

Our goal is too make the track more of a straight layout. Right now as many of you know, it's all one big turn, lol.

The jumps are gonna be SX style jumps (then knocked down after the pit bikes race) and the whoops are gonna be sweet. I will have to push the jumps back up before the next pit bike race weekend but thats no biggie. Im doing this all on my own time for you pit bike riders.

Im going to post a pic of the projected new layout just to give you a idea. The scaling might be abit off too.

So here's the deal, they dont think there's any REAL interest in pit bike racing and owning a track is not cheap. So why hold a event thats not going to help out with the bills right? Thats what they are thinking.

Spread the word about this money moto, even if YOU cant make it for what ever reason, tell others about it that might live closer or can afford the drive or whatever.

There are no other MX pit bike races in Michigan that offer a cash payout!! Money is always tight with most everyone but, we made it to pro source a few times just to practice with no chance of payback. Think about it guys and I really hope to drink a beer with you (21 or older, lol) there at the track. Heck, pitch a tent and spend the night if ya want!!

If the track has some real jumps I will for sure be there...work permitting of course...

Are you going this Sunday for open practice?

Trust me, there will be some jumps, not just humps like it is now.

Yes, I'll be there, I work there so if you want to talk to me there, just have the girls in registration radio me and I'll come up and talk with you.

sooo.....no money for 110's or built 50's? some up to 80cc for the money class?

LOL, no...

The following bikes can run in the money moto with ANY engine mod they want and these bikes ALL run at the same time:

XR/CRF50

XR/CRF70

TTR90

TTR50

Z50

XR/CRF80

XR75

KLX/DRZ110

I doubt you will see any 75's and prolly no 80's either.

And from what I understand, they will be running the normal pit bike race's those dates too, no money, just trophy's in those but lots of fun. And the bike size's get seperated in the regular class's.

Another pit bike race coming up...please check Log Road Motocross for details.

Race Dates:

May 19

June 23

July 14

August 18

September 1

Incase your wondering, the pit bike track is a very nice set up, no whimpy 2' rolling mounds, just ask around. 8 lap moto and if we get 10 or more sign ups for the $250.00 purse, that will be a 10 lap race.

Help save the pit bike scene, show up and play.

Check this out, must see!

If your thinking about going to Baja Brawl, please read on...

The brawl pit bike race requires AMA and district memberships to race it, Log Road does not require those, so keep that in mind.

Log Road also offers a $250.00 money race with atleast 10 entries for the money moto...baja does not offer that.

Log Road's pit bike track completely dwarfs baja's pit bike track.

Log Road also has a slow bike race held on the big track Sunday...all bikes allowed and this race is free to run...LINK>More info on that, click here.

So when we talk pit bikes, Log Road has more to offer....not too mention Log Road is running the big bike track backwards all weekend...LINK>Here's some pics of the track redone backwards.

For more info, please go too...LINK>Log Road Motocross and read the info on the right sode of the page.
