The shifter shaft is too short so I can't use a regular 50 shifter without it hitting the bottom of the ignition cover. Would a 110 shifter work? Cause they seem to come out then up. Are they the same size?

I have wondered if a 110 shifter would work. I have a shifter for it if you need it. It's nothing fancy. Just a chrome shifter.

I believe I put a shift shaft from a TB manual clutch in mine. That would explain why I can't find it right now. I am pretty sure that is what I did b/c I have been running a Classic Honda shifter on it.

Cause on the 110 shifters they come out and then up. So I was wondering if they did. I really could use one. How much for yours?



Also I need some help with the electronics. I have a crf70 on-off switch that needs to be connected.

I think what he is saying is the 110 shifter stuck out too far.

The shifter I have will work while you are looking for something else. It's basic but it will do for now.

There are usually a couple of those cheap aluminum ones on Ebay for sale but they are crap. I say put in a tb shift shaft and be done w/ it. That way you can run the shifter you want.
