Well I took a small plunge and contacted a supplier in Malaysia and bought what I think is Honda NICE 110 Copy engine cases, some bits to go with the cases, and a 57mm Cylinder.

Excited to see the parts in person

Received the engine cases that have CRF50 stud pattern, 102mm crank clearance, gear drive oil pump. I have pretty much decided to go with AASA on a couple crank/cylinder/piston setups.

Will get a short gcraft swingarm like this one. +4cm max. Want to keep the bike very small.

Doesn't like the DOHC is going to clear the front tire. I thought for sure the +1 inch Fast50s frame would work.

I didn't build this engine, but I put about 3000 miles on it myself. Then passed it on to my son. Not sure how many miles that he put on it himself. But it had a regular xr type kickshaft in it the whole way...with the stock 21tooth, skinny pinion gear. Proof positive...this won't work. At least not long term.

4 valve, 124cc, trx90 engine.

I have engine builds all over the place... just bought a CT70H 4 speed and already had ATC70 to maybe mix parts toget to have an all Honda close ratio trans for a z/crf50 build

The question here is can a CT70H and ATC70 trans be mixed together to make

1 - 2.692 CT70H
2 - 1.823 CT70H
3 - 1.350 ATC70
4 - 1.043 ATC70

*dratv sold the ATC70(82-85) trans ratios as a kit for $110(trans $60, shift drum/forks $50) but has them listed as out of stock

**used ebay gear set only. No shift drum/forks

As far as the DOHC engine goes I have decided to make it "special" and go big.
57mm bore NICE height cylinder
62mm Crank

Will do the trans/clutch after the power gen parts are setup. I'll post the parts I use once I get it worked out. Right now is still trial and error.

well, if you are running copy honda nice cases, then you might be careful with transmission selection The stock gears of a small block engine are small and thin compared to Nice geartrain. TRX90 can be grafted in.

Agreed. I have CRF50 cases, trx90 cases, and class1 Malaysia/Honda NICE cases. All with their differences.

I am mix and matching and have multiple engine on the bench for work. This atc/ct trans would on go into the CRF50 cases I believe and be for a 95-114cc 2valve. Want to make that a semi auto. Stall clutch + clutch pack like the trx/wave. It's not going to be an off the self endeavor.

Back to the dohc I'm trying to order some things from Europe that hopefully can be used in the build. Waiting fo an email back with shipping quote.

May end up ordering Nice transmission and clutch set since Malaysia has some ratio change options for that.
