Yah I know, blah blah blah, I know Joel won the BBR challenge, but he was on a bike with a wheel base much larger then any bike, with a 124 dohc, a bike that probably out handled any bike out there on a big track.

When it comes to a tight little SX track, I dont think he'll have as much of an advtange. I put down Gossalar because I know his capabilities, and if its not him, it'll probably be mcgrath. We all know his capabilities too.
i put down mcgrath cuz i saw him do a two wheel fifty slide on the inside to make a pass on 50nuts. also ive never seen any of the uthers
I think Storm will take it.

The others are obviously fast on anything they ride... but Storm specializes in making these bikes go like no other.
There are a lot of fast guys from across the nation racing in that class. I have a feeling that it won't be anyone on that list but most likely a home town privateer.

Just my $0.02
Its gotta be my buddy Mike Storm. Not just cause he's my bro but I have been filming all over the country and he is faster then all. I saw Jeremy at Elsinore 2 weeks ago and he was haulin ass, but Mike is the "Mini Master"

P.S. Dont forget Guy Cooper. I was riding at his house in Oklahoma 2 weeks ago and he has some secrets that have improved his bike a wee bit  .

This Is my order for top 3

1st...Mike Storm

2nd...Guy Cooper

3rd...Jeremy McGrath

I say shure. Everytime I go film and Im allowed bring friends along I will let you guys know. Doesnt matter to me. As long as the property owners are cool with it, Im down wit it.

 What would you say to everyone doing some timeshare type crap with local riding spots. Ok, well everyone's local riding spot was free except all the shovel time, but basically when we meet for Planet Mini Day everyone can give up directions to thier local favorite spot in trade for dozens of other spots from other riders. Just a thought....Cause im gettin bored with the same ol' same ol '.
My little boy Kyle is out for a little redemtion after Glen Helen, it nothing else I guarantee he will be turning some of the fastest lap times in any of the pro classes. Remember that all of these guys are riding bikes that are tuned to the max and a few won't even see the checkered flag because of mechanical failures. regardless it is going to be a kick'ass weedend to be a part of.....And I AM STOKED :!:
hey guys dont count out my buddy Josh West he holds his own !!!!!!!!!
hey brian, josh will probably do good but i think storm will take him

I JUST FOUND OUT THAT NONE OF THE HEAVYS HAVE TO QUALIFY IN ANY HEAT RACES, THEY AUTOMATICLY MAKE THE MAIN.......WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THAT
welcome to orginized mini racing 8O

PS. maybe PMX will change all that :D

... It is because having Jeremy, or Emig at any race will draw attendance... that is exactly what this sport needs... spectators.

The Outdoor channel will be filming for a show I hear... big names = bigger audience viewing on TV... that is great news for our sport!

It is all good... who really cares if they dont have to qualify... I dont know how many riders will be there to qualify (200 +?), or how big the gate will be (20 +?)... but I honestly dont believe that there will be 20 riders that could beat the 'heavies' listed, even if they were forced to qualify.

just my opinion.

Regarding the Big Names not having to qualify:

There is also the safety factor. Meaning the heavies as your calling them are a pretty talented group of riders and the organizer has a responsibility to those guys to besure the field has qualified riders in it. It's his job to try and weed out the field through qualifiying of those that are less talented a that may be riding over his head and possibly take out a big name guy. Thus the reason they call it qualifiing? The main guys are just that, the rest are just filler. This exact thing happened at Glen Helen invitational a few years back when someone that really wasn't qualified ended up taking Roncada and banged him up pretty good just before opening day of Supercross. RonRon was not happy. the big guys are out there just for fun and they don't want to risk getting taken out going through qualifiying, besides it makes for a better show and more rewarding to make it through the qualifiers and then get to face your MX idol in person! Besides look how much more track time you'll have compared to them.

WELL ANYWAY, THERE IS ONLY A HANDFULL OF GUYS SIGNED UP FOR THE PRO RACE ANYWAYS MAYBE 20 OR SO MAYBE A FEW MORE LATE SIGNUPS. NEXT YEAR IM GOING WHEN I MAKE THE MAIN IM GOING THERE TO WIN PERIOD.............! I DONT CARE WHO'S WHO THAT I TAKE OUT WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO WIN. NOBODY IS KING OF THE MINIS YET!! AND I DOUT ITS GOING TO BE MCGRATH, EMIG, OR ALBRECT..... ITS GOING TO BE SOME 90LBS PEACE OF GREASED LIGHTNING LIKE........ENGLE THAT MAKES THEM BAD BOYS LOOK LIKE DOUGH BOYS.....!

AND THATS ALL I GOT TO SAY.......OH YEH THIS IS OLDSCHOOL PUTIN IT TO YA. FROM THE CROTCH ROCKET FACTORY #38
Kevin you crack me up I just got to see you ride with all the stuff you got done to your bike you should at least beat Albrech but Mcgrath is extremaly fast on a mini he practices at our local tracks and trust me he will be hard to beat .

I think Bruce is right qualification is needed I've seen guys in way over there head in the open pro class and like Bruce said it is a safety thing I would not want to be taken out by some slug heck it happened to me at Perris and I busted up my knee so bad I could not ride for months so imagine these pro riders they have sponsors to answer to so what ever it takes its cool by me.

The track from the pics does not look to technical it looks like a fast open track so who ever has the quikest bike has a chance to win.
