Our guess would be a bent shift fork or shift forks.I’ve got a 2021 klx 110 and I’ve noticed that shifting up is extremely hard. Have to really crank on it to get it to upshift. Anybody have this issue? Thinking maybe a bent shift shaft but wasn’t sure if anyone else has seen this.
If the shift shaft is hit hard enough to bend that.. (Very common)
or It's shifted with a heavy foot they can bend or get a burr on them and it makes it shift hard.
Not an expensive part at all but a pain in the butt as you must split the cases to replace.
It's not always 100% that but would say it's the most common thing.
