i have a kitaco 143 kit in my bike.... is there a difference between that and 143 se.....im asking because i want to get the right head for it....does it have to be 143se head?

Kitaco SE heads good, Takegawa +R heads Better.

Im not sure ,but Classic Honda has the whole 143SE kit on sale for $703! the head upgrade alone is over $650 what a Deal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO IT, DO IT!

i understand that but the whole kit is about the same price as just the head and you probably need a different piston so you would spend more+ even if you can use your same piston you would have a new Piston,cyclinder a other stuff for free.

Is your piston from or for a se?

The se headf upgrade kit comes with a new piston its the same as the whole kit minus the cylinder. Going from 143 stock head to the se you will notice a big big difference

yeah the piston has to be changed but also the se head uses a $28.00 dollar plug.I have a 143Se head for sale for $350. just needs a piston.

Get the Trail bikes head. The price of the SE head isn't worth it from what i've heard there isn't much difference between the two...if any at all. Also the spark plugs are $28.00 a piece for the se head. Or save up for the takegawa +r head, thats worth it.

Im just telling him what I've heard. Dagner had a 143se and tb 143 and he said they were about the same. Now he has a 180+r. He knows whats up.

Oh I C. Didn't you get your SE head ported/polished? Anyways, no matter what head you go with mac057 your going to notice it big time so DO IT DO IT.

dagner does sound to be believeable, and what he said was that a ported/polished racehead tb 143 runs as good, if not better than the kitaco 143se. i would definately believe that, assuming that the se head also isnt ported/ polished.

the tb head is a copy of the two bros head but its no where as close to the se head as they say a ported se head is crunk and a tb head is not as good as the se head you have to ride them back to back to tell and on a open track,the se head is better,I will sell you the one I have if you want it for about the same as you go pay for a ported tb head and even tho the spark plug cost $28.00 your not replacing it as often as you will a regular plug but it will last longer but foul out quik if your jetting is ran wrong for a peroid of time.go se or +r but if you cant afford either the go tb,

is the tb143 head ported and ur se head not? if ur not sure or dont know, its not relevent to what dagner was claiming.... geeez. i think we r all smart enuf to believe that an unworked tb head isnt as good as an unworked se head...
