These posts usually go down in flames really fast.

Let's wrap this one up.

Standard 88cc Bore kits without the head:

Kitaco Performs equal to TB and TB performs equal to Kitaco. They both hold up the same. Go with the cheaper kit.

The trail bikes head is on the same performance level as the Kitaco Standard head (sik50's calls it the X head)

The Kitaco Ultra SE Head and the Takegawa Superhead are comparible to one another and supposedly put up the biggest numbers. I've personally never seen a dyno from an 88SE or 88 Superhead. Anyone got one to post?

Bottom line is purchase what you want, it's your cash.

For 95% of the mini riders out there, the TB kit will give you all the power you want without breaking the pocketbook. For those of you in the 5% catagory, you also made the right decision based upon what you wanted to get out of the bike.

But, for people who purchase just 88cc kits without the head, go with the cheapest kit between Takegawa, Kitaco and Trail Bikes and you can't go wrong.
