for stock fork legs with HD springs and +1 longer tubes to flex ?



cuz the ones i just bought (used) seem to flex more than i think they should



let me know if this is common

and if it isn't, then why is it happening

mine have zero flex.

sounds like you need new bushings, or the the steering stem isn't tight

You sure the actual tubes are flexxing?? Like inked said, check your bushings and that inner stem nut.

Id double check bushings for sure, and get some good delrin ones if they're wore.



Even after buying brand new bushings, Ive noticed just a bit of play front to back, not much, but I don't know if youd ever be able to get them perfect. The bushing is pretty far away from the axle, and if they were tight enough for no play, they wouldn't be able to slide up and down the fork tube freely without binding.
