Trying to remove it from the left side engine case or separate it from the input shaft itself?

I'm not familiar with these bikes, but some Honda's have needle bearings that sometimes require a puller. But I've had good luck removing them without a puller...
I just lay the case so the bearing can fall out, then point a heat gun at the case and leave it there to get the case really good and hot. Sometimes the bearing will just fall out. Sometimes I need to slam the case down on a piece of wood, or something softer, to persuade the bearing to come out. It doesn't always work tho. Some folks will put the case in the oven for a while to get it hot enough.
Occasionally, I've used a hair dryer like a heat gun, but I don't know if it would be hot enough to do this job.
