I would do neither and install a manual clutch and primary gear. If you already have a manual clutch and gear, I would DEFINITELY not do either as you will be left with no reciprocating mass on the crank.

i recently lightened my flywheel, and i have the primary drive gear on the other side and i love it. i think if i was to make it any lighter it would be to much tho. the only reason i would even consider a IRK is for the tunability. but i also ride my bike more like a 2-stroke instead of a 4. But thats just me.
