i can not find a thread with step by step on how to do it. pictures would help out alot.. anyone have the links? sorry about asking this question.. ive looked but cant find

Just put everything back where it came from, use bikebandit to look at diagrams if you forget how something went.

buy a manuel, you have to split the cases, and if you have never done it before bikebandit diagram is not going to help, and its not going to tell you tourque specs

Its as simple as splitting the cases and replacing them



A case splitter, flywheel puller, yamabond and some regular hand tools will get the job done. If youve never done this type of work, have someone on hand that has.. or buy a service manual.
