how much oile should i put in the gpx with a TB 146 with trail bikes oil cooler? I think i hear the valves tapping when i first start it up any suggestions.

I run Less than a Quart of oil... because these motor create a lot of pressure and will actually push out the oil through the crank case Vent and head breather.



I run it just touching the dipstick when "hot" with an Oil cooler

I have an X2R with the 146 SGR kit and with a whole quart in it it did exactly that pushed it out the crank case breather. So i run it just touching the dip stick too.

I run 750cc with an oil cooler on my 140, this puts it about 1/2 way on the dip when hot, any more and I get some smoking and puking out the overflow.

I run between 550 and 600cc with a oil cooler for a few years now with no issues



at the present time im running a SGR 146cc Pro "Factory Built" Motor and believe me it gets Hammered and it RIPS
