Hello! I'm getting crazy not being able to drive my Z50J 73cc :( The problem is i adjust the cam chain so it lines up with the dot and the flywheel perfectly. After 10 minutes driving it starts going slowl and i feels it has no power, because the cam chain is somehow jumping teeth on the cam sprocket:confused: That means the piston starts hitting the valves. I've tried replacing the cam chain and guides with the 50cc ones, still same problem. I'm thinking it could be a problem with the tensioner spring or both the cam chains are worn? Anyone else had any problem like this? Thanks for help!

The chain tensioner is a good place to start. You need to also check your oil pump drive sprocket. The chain tensioner uses oil pressure to make it work, and a drop in oil pressure could be the problem. You can take your stator plate off to inspect the sprocket.

I tried removing the bolt holding the spring, a little amount of oil came out. I've watched a video about a guy explaining the tensioner. He's saying that if you drain the oil from there you need to refill it like this: (Check at 2:51).
But how i understand it the oil-pump should fill that by itself? I put new oil and it seemed to have fixed it, do i have to concearn about anything or is that guy in the video right?
