grom. haven't got the funds to buy one right now but I test drove one and all I can say is for the money it can't be beat. so much fun. it tops out at like 70mph and it gets more looks than anyother bike i have ever rode.
if your planning on riding full size bikes in the future i would go with the rebel, if you plan on just riding minis or not doing any real distance then the grom(not saying the rebel is a long haul bike but you can at least get on a highway with one
Thanks to all I think I am going to get the grom.
I think it would be better to start on especially with its low price tag and easy to mod and from just looking around there are quite a few aftermarket parts for it soooo.......
. The rebel is one of the best beginner bikes that will give you the experience you will need to work your way up the cc chart. It is a Real motorcycle and not a big kids foofara ct70 in the making. Save the grom for when you have three other bikes and need a street legal bike to pick up a 40 at the local market. You want the larger diameter wheels to better roll over obstacles and get good gyroscopic effect for stability. The ability to go on the freeway and there's no replacement, for displacement.

The bike has two hot wires coming out of the harnes . When I attempted to hook up the Chinese switch and I believe I tried every combination possible. I...
I have a 2017 Honda Grom I picked up the other day. The bike had been stolen. I purchased a after market ignition switch but when I got into it found the plug on the factory harnes had been cut . The colors on the new switch don't match the harnes . What I'm asking dose any one know what color...
Can someone out here on the board please give me some dimensions of the Grom forks?
1. Clamping diameter at top
2. Clamping diameter at bottom
3. Total length from top to axle center
4. Axle diameter
Info is greatly appreciated...thanks.
So I know it won't directly mount...I can fix that pretty easy. What I want to know is if anyone knows if there is anything special about getting one of these to run? It doesn't need fuel injection...all it needs is a cdi box and a coil, intake and carb...just like all other motors.
