After the race season (may) Im getting my new bike hopefully a 250f so out of the 2004 CRF and YZF which is everyones favorite and why? 8)

CRF250R, I got to ride one a couple weeks ago and all I could say was wow. The power was like electric and it handled like a dream. Very very stable feeling yet cornerd like a razor.

CRF250R, partly because my dad owns Harley-Davidson Honda of Salina and all we ever run are Halreys and Hondas, but mainly because my brother got one and when I rode it it was incredible. A friend of ours sold his YZ250F so he could get a Honda. He said it handled a lot better and felt lighter. The power is smooth too.

they say that the yz250f has a lot more potent power plant stock, but the crf250f is still a better overall bike.



i say get the 250f :lol:.



(in other words, get either.... i would love to have either, and my blown up 125 (bottom end) in my garage has started to get me thinking of going the thumper route next time



go yamaha, because they have 3 years of testing before the honda came out, then in a couple years, switch to the crf becasuse they will eventually surpass yamaha's 250f.

Yamaha has three years of public testing. Honda does all of their testing before introduction. That is why not many first year bikes/ quads from Honda have problems. With the exception of the crf450 air box leak. Our rep said they had been working on it for over two years before anyone got wind that they were building one.

RMZ250 rocks! Easiest bike in the world to rail on. Not the hit of the

YZF but handles like a dream.

Hmm, I wouldnt sugest getting the RMz250. I heard lots of problems with them, and they're hard to work on cuz to do little shit u have to take off the radiator, or something :-/

I'd have to go with a CRF450 or a CR250. A bike like that has no power to carry my heavy ass around.

for the RMZ you gotta drain the antifreeze to change teh oil. PAIN IN TEH A$$. I would say get teh YZ250F. The CRF is for people that are more towards a 125 rider. There is basically no bottom end compared to the YZF, and the YZF hits harder everywhere. Despite being a little heavier (.5 pounds) and having a higher COG, the YZF is definately faster. If you like a nimble bike get teh homnda, if you wanna go fast eget the YZF.

You only gotta drain the coolant to change the oil FILTER I believe

To change the oil you have to remove all the coolant and take off the radiators and they blow water pump o-rings and for me living in florida the whole overheating idea wouldnt be too good for me? so rmz and kfz out of the question plus my friend just blew his tranny in his kfz

Not sure about that...But you still have to change the oil filter VERY often, I do mine every second oil change.
