ok im new here and i figured i would come ask ur guys opinion... i got a bike, not sure of the brand, with a pantera 90cc motor in it. it used to have a 125 but the previous owner got rid of that. now my problem is it wont start... i tryed adjusting it for the colder wheater by lowering the clip, which is when it quit starting, so then i raise it two notches, nothing... so i put it back to stock and nothing... i have a broken gasket between the carb and manifold and might it be latting too much air in?? oh and looking at the jets could it be possible that one really said 72??

its one of those lame plastick ones thats more of a spacer... its black and has a rubber seal on it... i just tightened it too tight and it cracked...
cracked all the way thru to the intake cavity???? you can take a bit of silicone and fill the crack in...let it dry and then put it on...that is a temp fix

yeah pics worth a 1000 words
got it
yeah...that not good..the big chunk out of it is not a good deal...well that is an insulator and you should replace it...but for the time being you should be able to mount the carb up directly....the carb should have a rubber o ring on it and that will seal to the manifold....this is just to see if the cracked spacer is causing your problems....do not run bike for a long time (ride) until you replace the insulator

ok thanks man... i will post up with the results tommorow
also i might just want to get a mikuni carb would a 22mm be good or 20?? and i know this is a dumb question, but there is only one oile you put in these things and it takes care of motor and tranny right??
also on the carbs which screw is isle and which is mixture
idle screw will be directly below the slide...the other is air/fuel adjustment....yes on your particular 4 stroke..the tranny oil is the same as the engine cooling /lubrication

(make sure u change ur oil regularly and use quality oil like Golden Spectro semi synthetic blend...not full synthetic)

a 22mm will be too much for a stock 50.....18-19 is pushing it
