I got a 110 from someone that put 65 taper bearings in the steertube to replace the bearing ones. they don't wobble they just move up and down just a little bit. not a lot but maybe 1/16". i pulled it apart, re-greased, re-tightened the lock nut with a spanner wrench and no matter how much i tighten it the whole forks still move up and down.

You need to make a spacer to push the lower bearing race down.. I ran into this problem about a month ago

Same issue maybe you can help. I have a 2010 110. Red Baron triple clamps. Pressed a lower bearing on bottom clamp all the way and had slop. Took it off. Then got new bearings added one washer before the lower bearing. Same issue. Before I buy another set of bearings, Can I do something with the race? Either not bottom it out or put a spacer before it?

I agree with them, you will need to make a spacer to push the lower bearing race down. This seems to be a common problem in some models.
