So, I wanted to remove all that old crap that was in my rear brake lines. So I removed it, but now I can't get all the air out of the lines.

I have a mitivac and still can't get it to work right. Anyone have any tips on how to bleed these brakes when there is so little fluid in them to begin with? I spent 3 hours last night and couldn't do it. Maybe I should have left the old fluid in there??/??

Remove the bleeder fitting and put teflon tape over the threads and try bleeding again. You are getting air in through the bleeder if you don't have teflon tape on there. Been there, done that.

did you try gravity bleeding ??? leave the bleeder open for a while until the fluid comes out w/out any bubbles . close it .....make sure fluidd is full again open the bleeder and push on the pedal 1 time hold it down close the bleeder

than release pedal...make sure you have enough fluid in the master and try that 1 or 2 more times that will get the air out .

after that you can do regular bleeding !!

at least it worked for me!!!

I hope i made sense to you !!

I got it...finally. PIA on these little things to say the least. I went around about 10 times with the teflon tape. I didn't get leaks at the mitivac hoses, but everytime i cracked open the bleeder screw, I had trouble. So, not enough teflon tape was the answer.

Anyone every try these guys? I just order 2 sets of them.

I did a few cycles of the manual gravity bleeding at the end...I always like to do that, but to bleed a whole system, that crap would take too long.

Anyway, thanks for all the help. If anyone has used the speedbleeders, I'd be interested in the feedback.
