I have a 12x1.60 rim laced up on the front of my klx 110. I have been running a 100/90-12 tt92 but I would like something with a little more grit when I take the road less traveled. (bike is street legal)

I see that kenda makes a K761 dual sport tire in a 110/90-12 and also a 110/70-12.

Will the 110 width fit between the fork legs without any issue? I realize that this is not the preferred rim width for a tire of this width for the racers but is is a streeter that gets ridden hard everyday of the summer. I am tired of swapping wheels on 2 bikes just to ride for a day in a little bit of dirt. (yes, I have to swap the girls wheels too) I am thinking that these will solve the problem without the effort of the wheel swaps.

I believe that these will fit but I am not positive since tire manufacturers have a pretty open tolerance on widths when they make tires. For those of you that don't know, a 110 width manufactured by kenda will not necessarily be the same width as a 110 width manufactured by Dunlop. The street tires for rockets and such seem to be relatively close in widths but when you cross over to the "Harley" side of things you really start to see the differences.

Any input would be great. Thanks!!

That Kenda should work fine! Very aggressive for a dual-sport tire, not sure how they work on fast turns on kart tracks.... should be fine for typical street use.

I have them for ICE racing, make my own liners etc... the 110/90-12" front fits all the chinese crf50 clone front suspensions, and a KX/RM65 stock front end. The 120/70-12" rear is nice out back on the ice or dirt....

This forum is kinda jacked up to search on.. Just saying:rolleyes:... He could have read the stickie that got out of control!

I personally use a tire grooving tool on most of my road race tires, helps on the off chance I find myself off the pavement, also helps in the rain..... they work well on packed dirt too....
