If that does work, it probably takes many many times of freezing to get any useful results. I've had great luck with using a rubber pipe plug in one end, and a modded rubber pipe plug with tire valve stem in the other end. Use a good torch and slowly start raising the air pressure in the pipe while carefully heating the damaged area.
Header pipe dents
I've been reading on several different forums that putting water in your dented header and freezing it pushes the dents out. Has anyone done this and does it work?
I hear it only works on minor damage and thats what i have.
