I've ran both the ultrahead and Honda Trail Bikes Race Head on the same bike, both 88cc displacements.

The Ultrahead is nice, but with their matching cam, isn't suitable for dirt, and is more of a street motor. Top speed with the proper gearing, good exhaust and 20mm carb is around 55-60 mph depending on your tranny. Power doesn't come on until higher in the powerband.

Save yourself a ton of cash and purchase the 88cc Kit with race head and matching cam from www.hondatrailbikes.com. Great for dirt, and good for 55+ mph blasts down the road, and the powerband comes on lower.

It's up to you if you want the extra 1/2 horsepower for the $600 extra bucks.

The superhead has larger valves and is a different animal.

However, both the Kitaco Ultrahead and Takegawa Superhead were designed before the XR50 was in existance and were designed for street use for the Honda Monkey, Honda Jazz, Honda Magna, Cub, etc.
